Mastering the Tarot Cards in Phasmophobia: A Comprehensive Guide

Tarot Cards are among the riskiest Cursed Possessions in Phasmophobia, offering substantial rewards but equally significant dangers. This guide details their usage.

Strategic Use: Safety First

Due to their inherent risk, using Tarot Cards in a safe zone, such as near a hiding spot or the entrance, is recommended. This allows for a quick escape if an unfavorable card, like Death, is drawn.

Card Mechanics

Each card triggers an immediate effect. However, The Fool acts as a wildcard, producing no effect. You can draw up to ten cards without sanity loss, and duplicates yield the same effect.

Cursed Possessions (or Cursed Objects) are high-risk, high-reward items that randomly appear in Phasmophobia contracts. Unlike standard equipment, they offer ghost manipulation at the cost of increased player risk. Only one spawns per contract (unless modified in Custom settings), always in a fixed location. Seven Cursed Objects exist: Haunted Mirror, Voodoo Doll, Music Box, Tarot Cards, Ouija Board, Monkey Paw, and Summoning Circle.
