Sword of Convallaria's Night Crimson Update: New Story, Characters, and Events!

XD Inc. has unleashed the Night Crimson update for their popular tactical RPG, Sword of Convallaria, just months after its initial release. This update boasts a wealth of new content, rewarding players with fresh challenges and valuable rewards.

The update continues the Spiral of Destinies campaign, focusing on Waverun City and introducing a captivating new investigative clue wall mechanic. This innovative gameplay blends tactical combat with detective work, requiring players to solve mysteries and make strategic choices guided by Safiyyah, the Mobile Squad leader.

Night Crimson also introduces SP Characters – alternate versions of existing characters with unique appearances and combat skills. SP Rawiyah arrives January 3rd, followed by Taair on January 17th. Unlocking SP forms for characters you already own grants an exclusive SP skill, boosting the power of both the original and SP versions.

Running concurrently, from December 20th, are the Night Crimson events. These events offer a treasure trove of rewards, including Secret Fates, legendary trinkets, and exclusive avatar frames. The Waverun Tournament, commencing January 3rd, provides another opportunity to earn event points redeemable for special items.

This update also provides a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the game's development. Developer messages offer hints about future content, and there's even a video message from Safiyyah's Japanese voice actor. A new theme song, "Never Apart," is also included, featuring a Japanese version performed by Hikasa Yoko.
