Spider-Man Series on Disney+ Scores Season 2, 3 Renewals

Marvel's animated "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" is already set for seasons 2 and 3! Despite the first season's premiere on January 29th, Marvel Studios' Brad Winderbaum revealed in an interview with The Movie Podcast that scripts for season 2 are complete, with storyboards halfway finished. Season 3 has also received the green light.

Winderbaum expressed his enthusiasm for the series, stating that the payoff of the show's carefully crafted narrative begins in season 1 and deepens in subsequent seasons. He's scheduled to meet with lead writer Jeff Trammell in a few weeks to discuss the pitch for season 3. However, release dates for seasons 2 and 3 remain unannounced.

The series chronicles Peter Parker's freshman year of high school as he develops his superpowers. Whether seasons 2 and 3 will follow Peter through his sophomore and junior years, or explore further freshman adventures, is yet to be revealed.
