Warcrow Teams With Ludus For Miniature Arena Merge

The tabletop miniatures hobby, which many associate with its 1980s peak, is actually more vibrant than ever today—with games like Warhammer seeing massive popularity. But they're not the only major player, as shown by Ludus: Merge Arena's new crossover event with the miniatures franchise Warcrow.

Developed by Corvus Belli, Warcrow is set in the fantasy realm of Lindwurm. It offers classic fantasy gameplay where you lead warriors, wizards, and mythical creatures. The latest expansion, The Song of the Dormant, introduces two new factions: Feudom and the Scions of Yaldabaoth.

Highlighting the Astral Rift event in Ludus are two heroes: Verena of Aurtigard, the High Priestess (obtainable as an event reward), and Uruk, Mage and Warrior (available via special purchase). Crows Over War

Astral Rift is a recurring PvP event in Ludus where you battle other players. You earn Compasses or Spheres—Compasses unlock rewards like the legendary heroes Ludusman and Alas, while Spheres progress you along the Astral Pass for various bonuses.

Typically lasting just five days, this crossover edition extends the Astral Rift event significantly. This gives players at Arena 3 or higher a much better chance to claim top-tier rewards. Also, follow the social media channels for Warcrow giveaways, which include physical game boxes and more.

While it's not unheard of for a miniatures game to branch into mobile, the success of titles like Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus suggests we may see many more such crossovers in the future.
