Rest is vital in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, offering a full health restoration without relying on food or potions. Here's how to catch some Z's.
Early in the game, securing your own bed is paramount. During the "Wedding Crashers" quest, you'll choose between following the blacksmith (Radovan) or the miller (Kreyzl). Both offer a bed as a quest reward. In my experience, Radovan's location in Tachov is closer to the starting area. Complete his smithing tutorial, and you'll gain access to a bed in the room next to the forge.
This bed will appear on your world map, and a nearby chest provides convenient storage. Return here whenever you need to rest and heal.
When immediate access to your bed isn't possible, numerous campsites are scattered throughout Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Some may be occupied by bandits; clear them out first before using the bedrolls. Campsites are marked on your map, and interacting with the bedrolls allows you to sleep. While not as comfortable as a proper bed, they'll suffice in a pinch.
Sleeping in an NPC's bed is a risky option. If discovered, you might face a confrontation with guards unless you can talk your way out of trouble.
That's how to sleep in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. For more helpful tips and guides, including torch usage and perk selection, check out The Escapist.
