Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for the launch of its Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, and Niantic has provided all the juicy details about what to expect. This exciting new season is packed with fresh challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and new monsters, officially kicking off on March 6th, 2025.
Before the season even begins, players are in for a special treat with the early arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. This monster is making its grand debut ahead of its first-ever appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. When the season officially launches, Glavenus and Arzuros will join the fray, adding more variety to your hunts.
The weapons in Monster Hunter Now are set to receive balance tweaks, making every weapon type more viable and fun to use. The Sword & Shield is getting a significant buff, making it easier to target breakable parts like tails. Additionally, the Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward well-timed taps with stronger performance, leading to more satisfying combos.
The Guard skill is also getting an upgrade. Previously, leveling up Guard had minimal impact, but now, higher skill levels will effectively reduce damage taken when blocking. More tweaks are on the horizon, and the full details will be revealed in the patch notes on March 6th.
For those who struggle with inventory management, Monster Hunter Now Season 5 brings good news. An Item Box Expansion will be available as a Supply Item, offering an extra 250 slots to help manage your gear and resources.
As part of Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary celebration, a new feature is set to roll out on March 17th. This feature will allow you to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for fantastic rewards. Expect to see items like Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards available for trade.
So, gear up for the new season by downloading the game from the Google Play Store and get ready for an unforgettable hunting experience.
