The Roland-Garros eSeries is set to make a thrilling return in 2025, inviting players from across the globe to compete on the virtual clay of Tennis Clash. This year's tournament introduces an exciting team-based format, with legendary tennis captains leading the charge and a €5,000 prize pool up for grabs.

Renault and Mastercard are returning as key sponsors, bringing with them the ability for players to customize their characters with official Roland-Garros 2025 outfits and the exclusive Renault 5 Roland-Garros string.

When Does It Start?

Mark your calendars because the Roland-Garros eSeries will kick off in March with the open qualifiers, serving as the initial battleground for players to earn their spot in the finals. The qualifiers are scheduled for three stages: March 6-11, March 20-25, and April 3-8, which will determine the elite contenders.

The top female players from the first two qualifiers will secure their place alongside the overall winners. The ultimate challenge awaits at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium on May 24th, where finalists will compete in front of a live audience. The entire event will also be streamed live on Twitch, ensuring fans worldwide can catch every serve and volley.

What’s New This Year?

The 2025 Roland-Garros eSeries introduces a fresh team-based format, moving away from the individual competition of past years. Finalists will be organized into teams, each led by a prominent figure in French tennis. The confirmed captain is none other than Gilles Simon, the former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion.

Simon, who has served as a commentator for the eSeries since 2023 and even competed in the 2024 Top 8, will be coaching one of the squads. The identity of his rival captain remains a mystery, but organizers have hinted that it will be a Grand Slam winner, adding an extra layer of excitement to the competition.

Once the teams are finalized, the competition will intensify. The winning team from the initial phase will advance to the double-elimination bracket from the winner’s side, while the losing team will start in the loser’s bracket.

Defending his title is Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco, the reigning champion, who will be joined by the two Grand Tour finalists. With last year's event drawing 548,000 participants from 215 territories, anticipation for this year's tournament is sky-high.
