Re-rolling your Avowed character? It happens! This guide details how to respec your abilities, attributes, and even your companion.
Why Respec?
Choosing the right build at the start can be tricky. If your initial class or attribute choices aren't working, respeccing lets you adjust your character to better suit your playstyle. Whether you're shifting from a pure mage to a spellsword, or just fine-tuning your build for maximum combat effectiveness, this guide has you covered.
Respeccing Abilities
To reset your ability points, open the menu, go to the "Abilities" section, and locate the "Reset Points" option near the bottom. The cost (initially 100 Copper Skeyt) increases as you progress. Confirm the reset to redistribute your points across the skill trees (excluding the unchangeable "Godlike" abilities).
Respeccing Attributes
Happy with your abilities but not your attributes? Open the menu, navigate to the "Character" section. At the bottom, below your attribute list, you'll find a button to reset attribute points. The cost, like ability resets, starts at 100 Copper Skeyt and increases with gameplay.
Respeccing Companions
To respec your companion, open the menu, go to "Abilities," then select the "Companions" tab. Under your companion's name, you'll see a button to reset their points for a Copper Skeyt cost. Remember: you must respec each companion individually.
