Rauora is the new Rainbow Six Siege operator

Ubisoft's Six Invitational concluded with the unveiling of Rainbow Six Siege's newest addition: Rauora, an attack operator hailing from New Zealand. A key element of her kit is the DOM launcher, a deployable, bulletproof shield designed for doorway deployment. While indestructible by gunfire, explosives can breach it. A unique feature is its triggered opening mechanism; attackers open it instantly, while defenders face a three-second delay – a potentially game-changing difference, especially during defuser situations.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2, a new fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine, to the game. Players can also equip her with either the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle.

Rauora will be playable on the test servers within the coming week, with a full release to follow shortly thereafter.
