Black Kyurem's Freeze Shock and White Kyurem's Ice Burn offer significant advantages. Freeze Shock immobilizes wild Pokémon for easier catching, while Ice Burn slows the catch ring for improved Excellent Throws. Both effects last 10 minutes, extendable in 10-minute increments up to a maximum of two hours at a time and 24 hours total.

This event features five-star raids against Black and White Kyurem, yielding Fusion Energy. Fusing Zekrom or Reshiram with a Kyurem possessing Glaciate will replace Glaciate with Freeze Shock or Ice Burn, respectively. This change is temporary; the move reverts to Glaciate upon separation. Note that Charged TMs or Elite Charged TMs cannot currently teach Kyurem these moves.

Choose your allegiance: the Black Version (Reshiram) or White Version (Zekrom) event badge. Your choice dictates Special Research rewards and the move Kyurem learns after defeating the respective Kyurem (Glaciate in both cases).

The Tour Pass is key to optimizing your gameplay. Earn Tour Points by catching Pokémon, completing raids, and hatching Eggs, or accelerate progress with quick Pass Tasks. Reaching Major Milestones enhances Catch XP and extends the duration of Freeze Shock or Ice Burn.
