Gameplay mechanics indicate Zelda uses a magic wand to summon creatures for combat (wind-up knights, pig soldiers, and slime), while Link utilizes his classic sword and arrows. Enemy defeat methods vary, with some burning and others dissolving into mist.

This marks a significant departure for the Zelda franchise, making Echoes of Wisdom the first game to feature Princess Zelda as the main protagonist. The game's popularity is undeniable, quickly becoming a top wishlisted title following its summer showcase announcement.

The extent of Link's playable segments, however, remains undisclosed. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom launches September 26, 2024.
