On August 13th, Owlcat Games, renowned for their acclaimed cRPGs like Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader (following their acquisition of META Publishing in 2021), announced their foray into game publishing. This strategic move allows them to leverage their expertise to nurture and promote narrative-focused games from other studios. Owlcat aims to collaborate with developers who share their passion for compelling storytelling, providing the resources necessary for successful game launches.

New Games Under the Owlcat Publishing Umbrella

Owlcat has already partnered with two promising development teams:

• Emotion Spark Studio (Serbia): Developing Rue Valley, a narrative RPG centered around a protagonist trapped in a time loop within a remote town. This game explores themes of mental health and personal growth as the protagonist unravels the town's mystery. Owlcat's support will enhance the game's narrative and player engagement.

• Another Angle Games (Poland): Creating Shadow of the Road, an isometric RPG set in an alternate feudal Japan.
