The registration window for these coveted spots opened on January 17, 2025, right after the reveal of the Switch 2 trailer, and closed on January 26, 2025. To participate, fans needed a free Nintendo Account. Nintendo made sure to lay out the registration rules and important details for attendees on their official website.

For those who didn't make the cut, don't lose hope! Nintendo has also sent out emails to these fans, detailing waitlist opportunities opening on January 29, 2025, at 4 PM ET / 3 PM CT / 1 PM PT. This gives you a second chance if any spots open up due to cancellations or new availability.
