Mortal Kombat Mobile is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a massive update from Warner Bros International and NetherRealm Studios, set to launch on March 25th. This update introduces new fighters, a revamped Faction Wars, a new challenge tower, and a plethora of anniversary rewards.
The spotlight of the update is the introduction of MK1 Geras as a new diamond-tier fighter. Geras comes equipped with a range of abilities including power absorption, healing, and damage reflection. To add him to your roster, you'll need to engage in Realm Klash or progress through the Kombat Pass.
Another exciting addition is Klassic Skarlet, the first gold-tier fighter capable of ascending to Level 5. She boasts unblockable attacks, a new Gash debuff, and the unique ability to steal blood droplets from opponents. You can acquire her via the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or the regular Kombat Pass.
Faction Wars has been transformed into Realm Klash, offering players the chance to choose from five different realms and compete for Realm Points over two-week seasons, moving beyond just fighting for Blood Rubies.
The 10th Anniversary update also introduces new ranks: Elder God, God, and Demi God. Additionally, Blood Ruby Packs now include new Kameo offers and rewards related to MK1 Geras. The mode has received a visual update, new banners, leaderboards, and fixes for previously known exploits.
The new Tower of Time presents an extreme challenge, running as a limited-time event for two weeks with only 50 floors. Players can collect seven new Tower of Time equipment pieces, and MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras will have their own Brutality equipment sets.
A Fusion Boost modifier will enhance the lowest fused card in your team, helping to balance gameplay. Alongside the new tower, the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are making a return.
To mark this significant anniversary, starting April 1st, players will receive a free copy of each character featured in the anniversary promo every day for 10 days. Additionally, three gold-tier fighters—Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke—are now eligible for ascension.
With a decade of Mortal Kombat Mobile behind us, this update is a testament to the game's enduring appeal. Be sure to download the game from the Google Play Store and explore all the new content when it launches tomorrow.
