For those unfamiliar (though I doubt that's many of you), let me introduce the series. Metal Slug is a renowned Japanese run-and-gun video game series that first hit the scene in 1996. Created by Nazca Corporation, it has since expanded into a multimedia franchise.

This isn't the first time Metal Slug has ventured into mobile gaming. We've seen Metal Slug Defense in 2014, Metal Slug Attack in 2016, and Metal Slug Commander in 2020. But Metal Slug: Awakening promises to elevate the experience with enhanced features.
