Lost Records: Bloom and Rage Arrives—From Life is Strange Creators

The renowned French studio Don't Nod, creators of the acclaimed Life is Strange series, has just released the first chapter of their latest narrative-driven experience. Dive into "Tape 1" now, with "Tape 2" set to be available for free to all buyers on April 15.

First unveiled in 2023, this game immerses players in the haunting tale of a group of friends who were mysteriously torn apart during the summer of 1995. Fast forward 27 years, and the ghosts of that fateful summer resurface, unleashing chilling repercussions that none could have anticipated.

Drawing inspiration from iconic works like It, Yellowjackets, and I Know What You Did Last Summer, the game skillfully weaves together elements of nostalgia and psychological thriller. The developers have split the game into two distinct parts—'Bloom' and 'Rage'. As of today, February 18, only the first installment, 'Bloom', is accessible to players.

The second part, dubbed "The Tape," is scheduled for release on April 15. Initially planned for March, the delay aims to deliver a more refined and immersive experience.

With the review embargo now lifted, OpenCritic reports an average critic score of 74/100, signaling a promising debut for this captivating mystery.
