Legendary Unova Duo Debuts in Pokémon GO Tour

Get Ready for Black and White Kyurem in Pokémon GO!

The Pokémon GO Tour: Unova event, scheduled for March 1st and 2nd (10 AM to 6 PM local time), will introduce the highly anticipated Black and White Kyurem. These legendary Pokémon will be available in raids, with shiny versions obtainable. The event also features special in-game backgrounds inspired by Pokémon Black and White.

Black and White Kyurem's arrival in Pokémon GO fulfills a long-awaited fan request. While a surprise accidental release occurred in 2023, their official debut is now confirmed. Their inclusion in the Unova-themed event is perfectly fitting.

Beyond simply catching them, players can participate in fusions:

• Black Kyurem: Fuse with Zekrom using 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy, resulting in a form wielding the Freeze Shock attack.
• White Kyurem: Fuse with Reshiram using 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy, unlocking the Ice Burn attack.

Fusion energy is earned by defeating Kyurem in raids. The fused forms are temporary; separation is free. Completing these fusions unlocks unique event backgrounds, with a bonus background awarded for achieving both.
