Heroes United: Fight x3: A Surprisingly Unashamed Rip-Off RPG

Heroes United: Fight x3 is a standard 2D, hero-collecting RPG. Its social media presence, however, reveals some…unexpected characters. With new mobile game releases slowing down as the holidays approach, this one stands out, not for its quality, but for its blatant disregard for copyright.

At first glance, it's a fairly unremarkable game: collect heroes, battle enemies and bosses. We've seen this formula countless times. But a closer look at the promotional materials reveals characters strikingly similar to Goku, Doraemon, and Tanjiro. The likelihood of these being officially licensed is, let's say, extremely low.

The audacity is almost impressive. It's a brazen display of copyright infringement, a refreshing change from the usual subtle imitations. It's like witnessing a fish attempting its first clumsy steps on land – awkward, but strangely captivating.

While the blatant rip-offs are undeniably amusing, it's difficult to ignore the irony. Amidst a sea of genuinely excellent mobile game releases, Heroes United: Fight x3 stands out as a particularly egregious example of shovelware.

Instead of focusing on this questionable title, let's celebrate some truly fantastic recent releases. Check out our latest list of the top five new mobile games, or delve into Stephen's review of Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago – a game that boasts superior gameplay and a much more memorable title.
