Karrablast, Shelmet Star in Pokémon Go's February 2025 Community Day

Gear up for an exciting Pokémon Go Community Day spotlighting Karrablast and Shelmet on February 9th, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time. During these three hours, these Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, offering you a golden opportunity to catch them and perhaps even snag their Shiny variants. Alongside, the event will feature typical Community Day bonuses, including additional research tasks that you can dive into.
By catching enough Karrablast and Shelmet, you'll be able to evolve them into Escavalier and Accelgor respectively, with each gaining an exclusive charged attack. Escavalier will learn Razor Shell, boasting 35 power in Trainer Battles and 55 in gyms and raids, while Accelgor will master Energy Ball, delivering 90 power across all battle formats.
For just $2 or your local equivalent, you can purchase the Community Day Special Research ticket. This ticket unlocks a Dual Destiny-themed Special Background for encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet, along with additional encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, and Rare Candy XL.
Log in during the event to activate a free Timed Research quest, giving you another shot at encountering these themed Pokémon and increasing your chances of finding their Shiny forms. Don't forget to use *Pokémon Go codes* for some extra in-game goodies!
Throughout the event, enjoy triple XP and double Candy for catching Pokémon, with an enhanced chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL. Both Lure Modules and Incense will last for three hours, and trading will be more rewarding with one additional Special Trade and a 50% reduction in Stardust costs.
Engage with Community Day-themed Field Research for rewards like Stardust, Great Balls, and more encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet. Keep an eye out for PokéStop Showcases as another fun way to participate in the festivities.
