And for those lucky enough, their Shiny versions might just make an appearance.
Who Are the New Pokémon in the Pokémon Go February Community Day?
Karrablast and Shelmet are the stars of this event. Evolving Karrablast will reward you with an Escavalier that knows the Charged Attack Razor Shell, which boasts 35 power in Trainer Battles and 55 power in Gyms and Raids. On the other hand, evolving Shelmet will grant you an Accelgor equipped with the Charged Attack Energy Ball, delivering a consistent 90 power in both Trainer Battles and Gyms/Raids.
The event also features a Special Research story, offering encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet against special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, along with rewards like a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. Following the main event, a Timed Research will run for an entire week, allowing you to log in and unlock tasks for additional encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet, also featuring the unique backgrounds.
