Infold Games launched version 1.5 of Infinity Nikki amid high expectations from fans. However, the update fell short of the promised enhancements, leading to a series of technical issues and bugs across various platforms. Some of these problems made the game unplayable for certain users. Additionally, the update introduced sudden changes to the game's systems, including an increase in the cost of 5-star outfits from 9 or 10 pieces to 11 pieces, which now requires up to 220 pulls to complete a set, making it more expensive and time-consuming for players.

A new dye system was also introduced, which many players found confusing and cumbersome, requiring them to unlock color palettes for each clothing item. Moreover, the Threads of Reunion storyline was removed from this update due to ongoing development of the associated outfit. Infold Games acknowledged these issues in a Twitter (X) post on May 18, stating, "Due to technical hurdles in Version 1.5, we were unable to properly refine the introduction of the Sea of Stars chapter and the narrative setup for Threads of Reunion, which regrettably led to confusion."

In response, Infold Games announced compensation for players, stating, "As compensation for Version 1.5's shortcomings and schedule changes, all stylists will receive Diamond 120 and Energy Crystal 1 every day from June 5 to June 12, totaling Diamond 960 and Energy Crystal 8." Despite this, the studio has yet to detail specific plans to address these issues, leading to an outpouring of concerns from fans in the comments section about the pity system changes, the dye system, and other bugs.

Due to the issues with version 1.5, the developers have decided to extend this version to allow more time for fixes. Consequently, version 1.6 has been delayed until June 12, 2025, impacting the schedule of in-game events. The new weekly task, Starlit Pursuit, initially planned for May 20, will now launch with version 1.6. Infold Games explained, "This delay allows us to refine task mechanics for a smoother experience. Additional details will be announced at a later date—please stay tuned." Players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation for this delay.

The developers are actively working on additional adjustments to address the issues caused by version 1.5. Infold Games stated, "There are also unlisted adjustments under discussion. Some changes require extended development cycles, but we commit to implementing them through phased updates."

To improve communication with players, Infold Games is launching the Miraland Round Table initiative. This platform will allow players to directly share their concerns and feedback with the developers through the game's official email account, using "Table Advisor" in the subject line, or via the in-game Customer Service option.

Infold Games expressed, "We feel guilt over delayed promises, yet gratitude for your unwavering support." They are committed to making Infinity Nikki "shine brighter than ever." The game is available on PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, and PC. To stay updated with the latest news about the game, be sure to check out our related articles!
