Hearthstone Is Dropping Battlegrounds Season 9 Soon with Major Changes!

Get ready for a cosmic shake-up in Hearthstone Battlegrounds! Season 9 blasts off on December 3rd, bringing a galaxy of changes and new features. Prepare for a revamped Tavern with a seriously upgraded Bob's Technotavern and a minion lineup that feels entirely fresh.

What's New in Season 9?

Say goodbye to Trinkets! Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9 resets ratings and introduces Battlegrounds Tokens. These tokens let you reroll your hero options at the selection screen – perfect for escaping those less-than-ideal choices.

• Today: Naga and Dragon reveals.
• November 21st: Quilboar and Beast reveals.
• November 22nd: Pirate and Duos-only reveals.
• November 25th: Murloc and Demon reveals.
• November 26th: Elemental and Undead reveals.
• December 2nd: Preview event streams and 31.2 patch notes.

More Exciting Changes:

Season 9 introduces three brand-new heroes, with Farseer Nobundo already generating considerable buzz with his Galaxy's Lens. Nearly 90 minions and Tavern spells are either joining or leaving the pool, creating dynamic new strategies.

Solo Battlegrounds games will see a damage cap adjustment: 5 damage early game, increasing to 10 on turn 4 and 15 on turn 8. This cap is removed once you reach the top 4.

Launch Dates:

• December 3rd: Official launch, featuring Beasts, Dragons, Quilboar, Pirates, Naga, and Mechs.
• December 5th: Murlocs and Demons join the minion pool.
• December 9th: Undead and Elementals enter the fray.
