The quickest and easiest way to obtain Hylea’s Talon in *Avowed* is by visiting Lluisa Melcer at the Farmer’s Market and Abritt Porrya in Plaza Mez Vidarro. These merchants, located in the early sections of Emerald Stair, offer up to 5 units of Hylea’s Talon for 450 coins each. Additionally, you can acquire more Hylea’s Talon by dismantling unique weapons and armor at the workbench in your party camp.
Much like Paradisan Ladder in Dawnshore, you can find Hylea’s Talon in *Avowed* by exploring Emerald Stair. Look for these plants, identifiable by the same plant icon on the mini-map. By actively engaging with the campaign missions in Emerald Stair and exploring the area, you're likely to come across plenty of these valuable upgrade materials.
Avowed crafting Hylea’s Talon
If you have an excess of Paradisan Ladder, you can craft one Hylea’s Talon at your party camp workbench using four units. Alternatively, if you have ample Admeth’s Wyrt, you can convert it into Hylea’s Talon by selecting the "Downgrade" option next to "Upgrade Materials."
For those upgraded items you no longer need, whether self-upgraded or purchased, you can break them down in your inventory menu to gain additional Hylea’s Talon. This method works only with "Exceptional" quality weapons and armor or above, so always review the "Break Down" section of their item descriptions to see what materials you can recover.
