Track Your Fortnite Spending: A Comprehensive Guide
Want to know exactly how much you've spent on Fortnite skins and V-Bucks? This guide outlines two methods to check your spending, helping you stay on top of your in-game expenses. Uncontrolled spending can quickly add up, so keeping track is crucial to avoid unexpected surprises.
Why Monitor Your Spending?
Even seemingly small purchases accumulate rapidly. Think of the story from NotAlwaysRight about the woman who unknowingly spent nearly $800 on Candy Crush in three months! Regularly checking your spending prevents similar shocks.
Method 1: Checking Your Epic Games Store Account
All V-Buck purchases are recorded in your Epic Games Store account, regardless of your platform or payment method. Follow these steps:
- Visit the Epic Games Store website and log in.
- Click your username in the top-right corner.
- Select "Account," then "Transactions."
- On the "Purchase" tab, scroll through your transaction history, clicking "Show More" as needed.
- Identify entries showing "5,000 V-Bucks" (or other V-Buck amounts) and note the corresponding dollar amount (if available).
- Use a calculator to sum your total V-Bucks and their equivalent dollar value.
Important Notes: Free Epic Games Store games will appear in your transactions. V-Bucks card redemptions might not display a dollar amount.

Method 2: Utilizing Fortnite.gg
As highlighted by Dot Esports, Fortnite.gg offers a helpful (though manual) method:
- Go to Fortnite.gg and log in (or create an account).
- Navigate to "My Locker."
- Manually add each outfit and cosmetic item you own by clicking on it and then "+ Locker." You can also search for items.
- Your locker will then display the total V-Buck value of your purchased cosmetics. Use a V-Buck to dollar converter to estimate your total spending.
Neither method is perfectly automated, but they provide effective ways to monitor your Fortnite spending.
Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
