Fortnite Adds Darth Jar Jar, Star Wars Battle Pass in Galactic Season

Fortnite is gearing up for an epic Star Wars celebration with its upcoming season, Galactic Battle, set to launch on May 2, 2025. This season promises a thrilling Star Wars-themed Battle Pass, an engaging five-part saga packed with surprises, and the introduction of Darth Jar Jar to the Battle Royale mode. The exciting announcement was made during Star Wars Celebration, where fans were also teased with the addition of Force Lightning as a new in-game ability.

The Battle Pass will feature iconic characters like Emperor Palpatine and unique mashups such as the Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader. New Item Shop offerings will include Mace Windu, and players will have the opportunity to pilot and co-pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters. Themed map locations will also enhance the immersive Star Wars experience.

The Star Wars saga in Fortnite will unfold over five weeks, each with a distinct theme:

• Imperial Takeover – May 2, 2025
• The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
• Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
• Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
• Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025

This saga will culminate in a spectacular in-game narrative live event, leaving players feeling as though they hold the fate of the galaxy in their hands.
