Square Enix has officially announced the PC launch of the acclaimed Final Fantasy XVI. This exciting news is accompanied by hints from the director about future titles potentially launching simultaneously on PC and consoles.

The PC version will be available for $49.99, with a Complete Edition priced at $69.99, including the "Echoes of the Fallen" and "The Rising Tide" story expansions. A playable demo is currently available, featuring the game's prologue and an "Eikonic Challenge" combat mode. Your demo progress carries over to the full game.

In an interview with Rock Paper Shotgun, Director Hiroshi Takai highlighted the PC version's enhanced capabilities, stating, "we've increased the frame rate cap to 240fps, and you can choose from various upscaling technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS3, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS."
