Exclusive Emotes Are Up for Grabs as Squad Busters Bids Farewell to Win Streaks

Squad Busters is set to undergo significant changes, including the elimination of the Win Streaks feature. This decision comes as the streak system was found to be more of a pressure cooker than a fun element, often frustrating players rather than making them feel like champions.

Why Is It Ending and When?

The Win Streaks feature in Squad Busters will be discontinued starting December 16th due to its stressful impact on players. However, your highest streak will remain as a legacy achievement on your profile. To soften the blow of this removal, exclusive emotes will be awarded to players who reached certain milestones before the cutoff date. These milestones include 0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100 wins. Unfortunately, coins previously spent on maintaining streaks will not be refunded, as the developers believe this would disrupt the game's balance between free-to-play players and those who spend real money. The decision to end Win Streaks has sparked mixed reactions among the community, with some appreciating the shift away from pay-to-win mechanics, while others feel the compensatory rewards are underwhelming.
