Corden assures fans that development is further along than previously perceived, though he refrained from offering specifics. This news might disappoint some, yet it's a more optimistic timeframe than earlier predictions of a 2027 launch.

June's trailer offered a glimpse into the game's Mad Max-esque post-apocalyptic world, showcasing intense zombie gunfights and vehicular combat. The narrative will unfold years after the apocalypse, focusing on human survivors building and defending settlements against the undead horde.

State of Decay 3 is slated for release on PC and Xbox Series consoles, marking a significant gap since its predecessor launched in 2018.
