**Levelling Up** – Every champion in DC: Dark Legion, no matter their rarity, can be levelled up to boost their base stats, including Attack, Defense, and Health. You can level up your champions by taking them into battles where they'll earn experience points. Alternatively, you can use EXP potions of various rarities to level them up instantly. Levelling up not only enhances your champion's power but also increases your overall account's Combat Power (CP).

**Upgrading Star Count** – Each champion in DC: Dark Legion™ comes with a base star count that determines their rarity. For instance, legendary champions start at 5-stars. To increase a champion's star count, you'll need to use shards of the same champion, which means you'll have to get duplicate copies. This can be a bit of a gamble and is generally an expensive process, not ideal for new players who prefer free-to-play. However, it's a fantastic way to unlock new abilities and further enhance your hero's stats.

**Gearing Up** – Besides levelling up, you can boost your heroes' effectiveness by equipping them with powerful gear. In the early stages, you can acquire gear by clearing hideouts.
