"Crusader Kings III Chapter IV: Exploring New Frontiers with Mongols and Asia"

Paradox Interactive has unveiled an exciting lineup of content for Crusader Kings III in 2025, organized as Chapter IV. This chapter focuses on expanding the game's scope to Asia, introducing new mechanics and regions for players to delve into.

The year kicks off with the release of the cosmetic DLC, Crowns of the World. This small yet elegant pack enhances player customization with six crowns, four hairstyles, and two beards, allowing you to tailor your rulers' appearance to your liking.

On April 28, the first major DLC, Khans of the Steppe, will be launched, offering players the chance to lead the Mongols. As the Great Khan, you'll guide your nomadic horde to conquer lands and assert dominance over neighboring territories, immersing yourself in the thrilling world of steppe warfare.

Next up, in Q3 (July–September), comes Coronations, a DLC that introduces a ceremonial mechanic. Players can solidify their rule through grand coronation events, which involve hosting lavish celebrations, making solemn vows, and shaping the future of their kingdom. This expansion also enriches political interactions with new advisor and vassal events, adding depth to royal succession strategies.

The chapter culminates with the massive expansion, All Under Heaven, set to release later in the year. This expansive DLC brings the entire East Asian map to life, featuring intricately detailed regions of China, Korea, Japan, and the Indonesian islands. Players will have vast new territories to explore and conquer, broadening their Crusader Kings III experience.

Throughout the year, Paradox will also roll out patches to refine game systems and enhance AI behavior. The developers are keen on incorporating player feedback to shape future updates, with the next Q&A session scheduled for March 26.
