Coromon: Rogue Planet Prepares for Cosmic Adventure

TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of the monster-collecting game Coromon by developer TRAGsoft (after its PC and Switch debut), we're getting a roguelite spin-off: Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free). Launching next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android, Coromon: Rogue Planet combines the original's turn-based combat with roguelite elements for a highly replayable experience. The Steam page highlights 10 dynamic biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:

The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile title. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, and whether its release coincides with the Switch and Steam versions. You can wishlist Coromon: Rogue Planet on Steam now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds more engaging. Based on the Steam screenshots, it seems perfectly suited for short bursts of play. Until its release, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS.
