Unlocking Master Schindel's Toys in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

This guide helps you complete the challenging Master Schindel's Toys side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This quest becomes available during the main story mission, "Into the Underworld."

The quest begins by tracking down an informant named Goatskin. You'll find him by speaking to the Bathhouse Madam and then Adam at the bathhouse. Adam reveals Goatskin's theft.

Locate Goatskin by speaking with Udo, a bathhouse patron who appears in the evenings. Follow Udo discreetly; Goatskin will attempt to rob him in a nearby alley, providing an opportunity to confront him.

Interrogating Goatskin might yield a map ("Map of Kuttenberg Underground"). If persuasion fails, bribery works. The map leads to a corpse at the Kuttenberg gallows (southeastern city). Examine the body to obtain the map.

Navigating the Kuttenberg Underground is tricky.

Finding the Stolen Items

For a quicker solution, locate the northern entrance to the underground area (shown above). Descend the ladder, remembering to equip a torch. Follow a path of mostly left turns, navigating a drop-down section. Goatskin's hidden stash (a barrel) contains the book and astrolabe.

Return to Master Schindel (usually northeast of the city during the day) with the recovered items to complete the quest. He'll reward you and may even share some astronomical knowledge.

Completing this side quest earns reputation and rewards.
