China has approved the release of the Genshin Impact, GTA and ZZZ hybrid

Project Mugen, now titled Ananta, is nearing its full launch after generating significant buzz with its initial promotional materials. The game blends elements reminiscent of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.

Ananta's release has been greenlit in China, with a projected 2025 launch across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A December 5th trailer showcased Ananta as an open-world urban RPG where players assume the role of an A.C.D. agent in the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova, a location ripe with mystery and exploration.

This ambitious undertaking is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. The developers highlight the game's global appeal, attributing it to the familiar yet supernatural blend of environments.

Key features of Ananta include four-player team-based battles, a distinctive art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
