Sony Pictures has exciting news for anime fans: Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is set to hit US theaters on October 29, 2025. The announcement came during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they revealed securing worldwide theatrical rights, excluding Japan, for this much-anticipated film. This fall, US audiences can dive into the thrilling world of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s creation, with over 80 other countries getting the chance to see it on September 24, 2025. Meanwhile, Toho will handle the movie's release in Japan on September 19, 2025.

The Chainsaw Man movie was announced in December 2023 and serves as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime series that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young boy who gains a new lease on life through a pact with a Chainsaw Devil dog named Pochita. This deal gives him the extraordinary ability to sprout chainsaws from various parts of his body, transforming him into the iconic Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to Reze, a significant character from the original manga.
