Black Ops 6 is set to enhance its gameplay experience with the addition of two beloved classics just days after its launch. Alongside these exciting announcements, the developers have addressed recent player-reported issues through a comprehensive update.

Black Ops 6 Announces New Mode, Map, And Regular Post-Launch Updates

Infection and Nuketown Roll Out This Week

"Launch was only the beginning. Tomorrow, the Infected are coming to play. Nuketown joins the party on Friday. LFG," announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch on Twitter (X). This confirms the introduction of the fan-favorite multiplayer mode and iconic map to Black Ops 6 this week.

Following its launch last week, Black Ops 6 is set to introduce the "Infected" party mode on Thursday. In this mode, players must fend off and survive against player-controlled zombies. Just a couple of days later, on Friday, November 1, Nuketown will make its much-anticipated return. This iconic map, inspired by 1950s US nuclear test sites, first debuted in Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010). Activision has promised that players can expect more modes to be regularly added to the game post-launch. At its release on October 25, Black Ops 6 featured 11 standard multiplayer modes, including four alternate modes without Scorestreaks and a Hardcore mode with reduced player health.
