In a Weibo post, Feng Ji expressed concern that spoilers would diminish the game's immersive experience and sense of discovery, key elements contributing to Black Myth: Wukong's appeal. He emphasized the importance of preserving the element of surprise for other players.

Feng Ji appealed to players' sense of community, asking them to refrain from viewing or sharing leaked content. He specifically requested that players protect those who wish to experience the game unspoiled, stating, "If a friend around you clearly says that he doesn't want to be spoiled about the game, please help protect them."
