Bam Margera, the iconic skateboarder and Jackass star, is set to make a thrilling return to the roster of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, despite initial reports suggesting otherwise. This exciting development was revealed by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during an exclusive livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

According to Bagley, the game was already completed when Tony Hawk personally intervened, requesting Activision to include Margera in the lineup. Although initially told it was impossible, Hawk's persistence paid off, showcasing his dedication to ensuring Margera's inclusion. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this matter.

Margera's journey has been marked by well-documented struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, including multiple rehabilitation attempts. His dismissal from the Jackass Forever project and a subsequent restraining order issued against him by Jackass director Jeff Tremaine have kept him in the public eye. However, recent footage of Margera skateboarding alongside Tony Hawk sparked speculation and hope among fans about his return to the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, announced earlier this month, is slated for release on July 11, 2025. Gamers can look forward to playing on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game has overcome significant hurdles, including nearly being canceled following Activision's merger of the previous developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard.
