In the sprawling world of Baldur's Gate 3, the romance options are as varied as they are intriguing. Among these, the encounter with Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress stands out as a unique and easily overlooked opportunity. This brief yet memorable romance occurs during a bustling segment of the game. In this guide, we'll detail how to locate this encounter and the steps to romance Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3.

Where to Find Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3

### Visit Sharess' Caress in Act III:

To meet and romance Naoise, you need to progress to the early stages of Act III. As you journey towards Baldur's Gate, you'll traverse Wyrm's Crossing. Your initial visit to this area will lead you to Sharess' Caress, a local brothel, situated on the eastern side of the bridge leading into the city.

If you've previously explored Wyrm's Crossing, you can utilize the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing fast-travel point, which conveniently drops you right at the doorstep of Sharess' Caress.

Look for Nymph's Grotto:

Within Sharess' Caress, Naoise resides in the Nymph's Grotto, located on the second floor, just beyond the door leading to the exterior. Identify the correct door by the green light beside it and the ivy adorning the walls. The door is locked but can be easily opened with a lock-picking roll of 10 or higher.

### Interact with Naoise:

Upon entering the Nymph's Grotto, approach the bed where you'll find Naoise engaged with Jara, a Flaming Fist soldier. Your intrusion interrupts their intimate moment, prompting Jara to confront you as her tadpole interacts with yours. Select the dialogue option:

  • "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken."

Jara mentions the Absolute and then transforms into a Mindflayer, which you must defeat. After vanquishing Jara, Naoise turns her attention to you, expressing an unusual attraction to Mindflayers. Respond with:

  • "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset."

An Insight check reveals Naoise's readiness for romance. Continue the conversation with:

- "That creature aroused you, didn't it?"

Avoid judgmental responses to keep the conversation on track. Naoise expresses her interest in another 'flavor' of experience. Choose the following options to proceed to the romance scene:

  • "What did you have in mind?"
  • "Close your eyes and listen"

This romantic encounter unfolds entirely within your mind. Naoise prompts you to choose 'what you will be', offering several options, each with a unique response:

  • Revered
  • Contented
  • Powerful
  • Rich
  • I think we're done here.

Selecting 'Contented' leads to a brief romance scene with Naoise. Once concluded, Naoise will express disinterest in further interactions, stating she can offer 'rapture' only once. Interestingly, this encounter does not affect other ongoing romances, such as with Karlach, who remains unconcerned about this brief liaison.

Completing the romance with Naoise grants you the 'Carnal Rituals of Sharess' inspiration point from Shadowheart. Additionally, Naoise bestows upon you the Rapture boon, providing a passive 1d6 bonus to nearly all ability checks.
