How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE

Mastering all three Arata stages in GHOUL://RE requires dedication and a lot of Reputation grinding. While the stages aren't necessarily challenging in terms of skill, they demand patience and persistence.

Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE

To kick things off, you need to amass 25,000 Reputation points and reach the rank of Special Investigator within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the Commission of Counter Ghoul (C.C.G. center) and locate Damiro D. Mado on the second floor. He'll task you with collecting 10 one-eyed fragments and 10 Kokuja fragments.

The quickest way to gather these fragments is by defeating bosses like Eto and Tatara, and then crafting them at a crafting table. To check your Reputation, speak with Saiyo Natsuki, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you have all 20 fragments, convert them into five one-eyed Kokuja fragments at the crafting station. Return to Damiro, who will then direct you to speak with "him". This mysterious figure is none other than Black Reaper of Doom And Despair, a key NPC in the GHOUL://RE community.

Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE

For Arata stages 2 and 3, you must switch to permadeath (PD) mode to unlock the legendary armor. It's advisable to team up with reliable allies, as solo missions can be frustrating.

Once you've accumulated 100,000 Reputation points, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and go to the Laboratory. There, you'll find Black Reaper of Doom And Despair by the door, dressed in a black suit and holding a scalpel.

Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments and your 100,000 Reputation to complete Arata-Proto armor Stage 2. Despite rumors suggesting lower Reputation requirements, our experience confirms that 100,000 Reputation points are necessary for guaranteed success.

Remember, you must play Arata stages 2 and 3 in PD mode to progress. Failing to do so will result in repeated responses from the Black Reaper, preventing you from completing Stage 2 and accessing Stage 3.

Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE

The final stage also involves Black Reaper of Doom And Despair, requiring a one-eyed Kakuja fragment and 500,000 Yen. In PD mode, visit the C.C.G. building and pay the Black Reaper to be teleported to face Kishou Arima.

Defeating Kishou Arima requires at least average gaming skills, involving jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing significant damage. While challenging, with practice, even average players can triumph.

Be prepared for potential deaths during this encounter. Each retry requires another one-eyed Kakuja fragment and 500,000 Yen. Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor, a powerful but demanding piece of equipment.

While wearing Arata armor, be aware that it drains your hunger rapidly, and you cannot eat while equipped. To replenish hunger, you must remove the armor.

However, the armor's benefits are substantial. It prevents ragdolling, a significant advantage in all game scenarios. Additionally, Arata enhances your character's tankiness, allowing you to sustain and deal massive damage. If the armor depletes your hunger during combat, it will start consuming your health bar, so monitor your status closely, especially in boss fights.

Reputation Grinding

The most efficient way to grind the required Reputation is by fighting bosses in PD mode, earning 1,500 Reputation per kill, compared to 500 outside PD. Killing Ghouls yields only 100 Reputation points, making them less ideal for Arata quests.
