Albion Online, the medieval fantasy MMORPG developed by Sandbox Interactive, is set to launch its next major update, Rogue Frontier, on February 3rd. This update promises to bring exciting new content and gameplay mechanics to the game, and we have all the juicy details ahead of its release.

What’s Happening in the Outlands?

The Rogue Frontier update revolves around The Smugglers, a group of rebels tired of the Royal Continent's stringent rules. They've established themselves in the lawless Outlands, setting up secret underground hideouts known as Smuggler’s Dens. These dens serve as hubs for banking, repairs, and planning your next adventure. They're interconnected through the Smuggler’s Network, which links marketplaces throughout the Outlands.

The Smugglers have formed their own Faction and are in a perpetual battle with the Royal Guards. Players can support the Smugglers by participating in various activities, such as rescuing captured Smugglers or smuggling contraband hidden in Smuggler Crates.

Loyalty Has Its Perks in the Rogue Frontier Update of Albion Online

In the Smuggler’s Dens, you'll meet Maggy Slade, a dubious trader who rewards your loyalty with exclusive items. Among these rewards are the Smuggler’s Vanity Set, the Smuggler’s Cape, which reduces potion cooldowns, and the Smuggler’s Ring and Avatar.

The Rogue Frontier update also introduces Kill Trophies to Albion Online. These drop when you defeat another player, and the better the loot on your fallen opponent, the higher your chances of obtaining one.

Alongside these new features, Rogue Frontier adds stylish new weapons to the game. The Rotcaller Staff summons a mist-spewing form that repels enemies, the Skystrider Bow allows you to levitate and unleash bolts from above, and the Forcepulse Bracers send shockwaves through opponents as you dash into battle.

Get ready for the Rogue Frontier update by downloading Albion Online from the Google Play Store and preparing for the action on February 3rd.
