The enchanting world of **Disney Dreamlight Valley** has been expanded with the exciting addition of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine, thanks to the free Tales of Agrabah update. This update allows players to welcome both characters into Dreamlight Valley, and with them comes a series of engaging quests and rewards that enhance the gameplay experience. Here's a comprehensive guide to Aladdin's Friendship Quests and how to unlock them, ensuring you get the most out of your adventures in Dreamlight Valley.
Upon Aladdin's arrival in Dreamlight Valley, he'll invite you to join him and the Magic Carpet for a photo opportunity. To complete the quest "Carpet Diem," which begins in the Agrabah realm, equip the Magic Carpet as a Companion from the wardrobe menu and snap a selfie with it.
(Gameloft) To unlock Aladdin's Level 2 quest, "Good As Gold," you'll need to increase his friendship level by giving him his favorite gifts. In this quest, Aladdin enlists your help to test Scrooge McDuck's new security system. Start by talking to Scrooge and taking photos in his shop, focusing on:
Capture the vault door behind the desk and both staircases, aiming for broad shots to fulfill all requirements efficiently. After discussing the next step with Aladdin, he'll suggest dressing in dark, sporty clothing. Though optional, waiting for nightfall (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) can enhance the experience before you proceed.
Once dressed, enter the shop and trigger the security system test by pressing the big, red button to the left of the counter. The store will then transform into its "closed" state, featuring pools of light and buttons that control them. Navigate through this maze by pressing the buttons strategically to reach the vault downstairs without being detected.
After successfully navigating the security system, collect four floating coins inside the shop and deliver them to Aladdin. Some coins will escape into Dreamlight Valley, prompting you to glide around your home area to collect the remaining nine. Return to Aladdin and Jasmine's house to add these coins to Scrooge's growing pile, then snap a photo with Aladdin and the gold. Finally, listen to Aladdin and Scrooge's discussion outside to complete the "Good As Gold" quest.
As Aladdin settles into Dreamlight Valley, he proposes creating a Dreamlight Magic Carpet. Start by consulting Merlin, who directs you to the Dreamlight Library to collect three books: Fabric Enchantment, Carpet Weaving, and Flying Technique. These books are located on the floor next to the book pile in the back left corner, on the shelf against the back right wall, and to the left of the desk in the center of the room, respectively.
Hand the books over to Aladdin, who then sends you to Minnie for assistance in crafting the Dreamlight Magic Carpet. Gather the necessary materials:
Deliver these items to Aladdin and Jasmine's house. Once Aladdin crafts the Dreamlight Magic Carpet, accept the Magic Scroll from him and interact with the carpet to make it fly. Aladdin will then guide you on a tour around Dreamlight Valley using the new carpet, which serves as a Glider skin. Ensure your energy bar is overfilled (yellow) by consuming prepared meals to glide effectively.
(Gameloft) Equip the Dreamlight Magic Carpet from the wardrobe menu and start the tour by gliding under the banner in the Plaza’s main square. Follow the route through the Forest of Valor, Dazzle Beach, and Peaceful Meadow, ensuring to track the quest for guidance if needed. Note that, despite the appearance of flight, the carpet functions like other Gliders and cannot bypass ground obstacles.
Upon completing the tour, speak with Aladdin at the end of the pier to finish the "Bring Your Own Carpet" quest.
At Friendship Level 7, Aladdin introduces the quest "All That Glitters," where he aims to create an extraordinary bouquet for Jasmine. Collect 4 yellow and 6 purple flowers of any type and bring them to Aladdin. After presenting the bouquet to Jasmine, Aladdin expresses his desire to give her something she truly loves, leading to a treasure hunt based on a scroll from Scrooge McDuck.
The scroll directs you to "begin at the mermaid’s isle." Travel to Skull Island, then to Ariel's isle, where you'll find a Golden Sun Piece on the upper right side of the peninsula. Insert it into the tall rock to the left of your entry point, revealing an image of a broken-down pillar. Dig up a box in the sand to the north, fish for a pillar piece near the raft, and open a nearby barrel.
Assemble the pillar pieces, but when nothing happens, consult with Maui, Ariel, and Rapunzel in Dreamlight Valley. Their lack of knowledge leads you back to Ariel's island, where Jasmine joins you with her expertise. Follow her clues to rotate the pillar pieces into the correct order: water, seed, and flower. Collect the treasure that appears and give it to Aladdin, who shares it with Jasmine, culminating in a heartfelt moment. Accept the golden tea set furniture item to complete the "All That Glitters" quest.
(Gameloft) Building a strong friendship with Aladdin involves daily conversations, gifting him his favorite items three times a day, and completing tasks together. Serving him meals at Tiana’s Palace or Chez Remy, especially 4- or 5-star dishes, can also boost your bond.
