The Last of Us Will Probably Run for 4 Seasons, HBO Exec Says

HBO's critically acclaimed series, The Last of Us, is set to captivate audiences for four seasons, according to executive Francesca Orsi. While Orsi mentioned that "it's looking like" the show will run for a total of four seasons, she was quick to note that there's no "complete or final plan" yet. "I wouldn't want to confirm that, but it's looking like this season and then two more seasons after this, and we're done," Orsi shared with Deadline.

Fans eagerly awaiting the return of the show can mark their calendars for April 2025. Orsi teased that the upcoming season will introduce "various factions competing for survival," describing them as "a really intriguing survivalist group" with a unique presentation in wardrobe and makeup that sets them apart.
