May 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Confirmed

Sony has unveiled the exciting lineup of games joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, catering to a wide array of gaming preferences. Announced via a detailed post on the PlayStation.Blog, subscribers of the Extra and Premium tiers can look forward to diving into six new titles starting May 20, 2025.

For PlayStation Plus Extra members, the catalog is expanding with nine thrilling new additions. The spotlight shines on "Sand Land," an action RPG that brings the world of Akira Toriyama's manga to life on both PS4 and PS5. Other notable titles include "Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition" and the comprehensive "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy." The latter has just been announced to receive an enhanced version for PS5, alongside PC and Xbox Series X|S, also launching on May 20. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on consoles will upgrade to the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost, although it's not yet clear if this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

For PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, a classic gem, "Battle Engine Aquila," is set to join the catalog. This sci-fi action title, available on both PS4 and PS5, offers an immersive experience where players pilot a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies in both aerial and ground combat.
