ArtClash is designed to help people practice drawing, sketching, and cartooning every day.

This is an evolving project—the first game is ready, with more content coming soon.

You can freely draw anything or choose from various topics and constraints (like time limits, color restrictions, or canvas size). Submit your work and earn points when others correctly guess your drawing!

This solo project was created for my wife and me to practice daily and to inspire others to do the same.

Current features:

• Paint – Sketch, Paint, and Blend colors

• Import images to use as references or paint over them

• Choose topics and constraints, draw, and earn points when people guess correctly

• Six difficulty levels for topics—from single words to up to five different words (nouns, verbs, places, time periods)

• Three optional constraints for extra points: time, color palette, or canvas size

• Freely draw and share your creations

• NSFW filter allows you to view content marked by others as not safe for work

Current early-access issues and bugs:

• Basic UI: The Unity user interface has been challenging, and we plan to replace it with a responsive XAML system

• On lower-end devices, keep canvas sizes under 1024x1024. The GPU-accelerated brush engine can slow down with large canvases and small brushes—we're evaluating other engines and working on performance improvements.

Upcoming features:

• New game modes (starting with a drawing "telephone" game)

• Improved social tools (custom avatars, comments on projects or finished games, friend and follow options)

• Better UI and faster brush engine (addressing current limitations)

• Marquee and transform tools for selections

• Expanded brush library (compatible with custom textures and user-shared brushes)

• Advanced layer features (transparency locking, masking, and more)

• Developer communication hub: Request features, report bugs, and vote on upcoming updates

• Moderator roles for community-driven content review

• User-submitted topics and constraints, integrated after moderation

• Future updates will support advanced image editing, animation, scripting, and game or storyboard prototyping.

While performance with large textures and limited editing tools mean this isn't a complete image editing suite yet, ArtClash is optimized for social challenges and daily creative inspiration.
