Play StopotS, the exciting word game where categories come first!

StopotS is a modern take on the classic categories game, also known as Scattergories, "City Country River," or simply Stop.

First, you select categories to set the stage for the gameplay. Common examples include Names, Animals, and Objects. Once the categories are set, a random letter is drawn for all players, and a new round begins. Everyone races to fill each category with a word that starts with the chosen letter. The first player to complete all categories hits the "STOP!" button, immediately halting all other players. Next, players vote collectively to review each answer, determining which entries are valid. Each valid answer earns 10 points, while 5 points are awarded for duplicate but correct entries. Incorrect answers receive no points. This sequence repeats until a predetermined number of rounds has been played.
