Master the art of word discovery with Squares! This daily word puzzle challenges you to strategically complete squares on a grid to create words. The goal? Maximize your score by finding as many words as possible.

Gameplay:

Connect letters in any direction—up, down, left, right, or diagonally—to form words. Words must be at least four letters long, and each tile can only be used once per word. Hyphenated words, proper nouns, offensive language, and obscure terms are excluded.

Scoring & Bonuses:

Each letter in a word earns one point (a five-letter word scores five points). Beyond the main words, you'll encounter bonus words – these are uncommon, archaic, or slang terms that don't earn points but add to the challenge and appear on a separate list. Even after finding all the main words, the hunt for bonus words continues! Each puzzle also features a "Word of the Day," a special, often longer bonus word that awards two extra hints upon discovery.

Daily Challenges & Assistance:

A new Squares puzzle is available daily at midnight. Need a fresh perspective? Rotate the grid left or right using the buttons in the bottom right corner. After finding 40% of the words, you'll get a hint: a number on each letter indicating how many words start with that letter (a zero means no words begin with that letter). Orange letters are no longer used in the main words but may still appear in bonus words.

Each puzzle offers 3 to 5 hints (lightbulb icons), each revealing the first letter of a random word and its search direction. The number of hints depends on the puzzle's difficulty. Sharing the game link with friends earns you an extra hint! Prepare for a stimulating word-finding adventure!
