Phase 10 Gameplay Rules:

A phase is a combination of cards (sets, runs, same-color cards, or a mix). There are ten phases to complete:

The game starts with each player receiving 10 cards.

Phase Completion:

• Phases must be completed sequentially (1 through 10).
• A complete phase must be in hand before being laid down.
• You can lay down more than the minimum cards for a phase, as long as they directly add to the existing phase.
• Only one phase can be completed per turn.
• Failure to complete a phase requires retrying the same phase on your next turn.
• Credit for completing a phase is awarded immediately upon laying it down, regardless of winning the round. Multiple players may often complete phases in the same round.
• Players are not required to lay down a completed phase if they have it in hand; however, a card must still be discarded at the end of their turn.

Ending the Round and Scoring:

After completing and laying down your phase, discard your remaining cards. Remember to always draw one card at the beginning and discard one at the end of your turn.

Once a player discards their last card, the round ends. Players calculate their scores based on remaining cards:

• 5 points for cards 1-9
• 10 points for cards 10-12
• 15 points for a Skip card
• 25 points for a Wild card

The lowest score wins!

Winning the Game:

If only one player reaches Phase 10 and completes it, they win. If multiple players complete Phase 10 in the same round, the player with the lowest total score wins. In case of a tie, those players replay Phase 10, with the first to complete and discard all cards being declared the victor.
