A bus simulator featuring mods and expansive cities!

Welcome to Proton Bus Urbano!

This classic version focuses on urban buses for transporting passengers within city limits. Originally released in 2017, it has been nearly five years since launch. Over this period, our simulator has incorporated numerous new features.

The bus modding system is now more advanced, supporting various animations such as buttons, rain effects, wipers, and windows. The community has already created hundreds of buses, with many more on the way!

We plan to release several new buses as mods soon, including some currently in development this year. Including every bus we have would make the game excessively large, so not everyone plays with all vehicles. As a mod, you can keep only your favorites, saving storage space. All older non-animated buses are excluded from this edition and will be released as mods over the coming months.

In 2020, we introduced the map modding system, which is quite rare for mobile games! While creating maps requires a computer, once created, they can run on most mobile devices with sufficient RAM.

These older routes remain available, but with a strong emphasis on custom map creation, they will soon become legacy content.

This simulator is FREE, offering extras for PAID USERS. You can play the free version forever; we don't charge just to make money. Pay only if you truly enjoy this project and understand its development process. Paid users enjoy ad-free gameplay and access to exclusive features like virtual mirrors, cruise control (automatic acceleration at set speeds), 360-degree screenshot capture, and more. Almost all other features and buses are completely free.

This is more of a simulator than a game. We don't focus on points or checkpoints—just pick your preferred bus and drive. Being a complex simulator, it offers many controls and settings. Please watch some online videos or tutorials before complaining; most issues are easily resolved. For instance, press 'N' before selecting the gear to move the bus. Don't forget to release the parking brake. Some options may cause unexpected behavior, so read setting descriptions carefully before enabling them. Performance varies by device, with some settings working better on specific hardware.

This project is available for PC and Android. PCs offer superior graphics quality due to their powerful hardware. You can adjust many settings to improve performance. It requires a modern mid-to-high-end device with ample RAM (preferably 4 GB or more). If the game runs poorly on your device, try older versions or tweak the settings. There is a known issue with Unity-based 64-bit Android apps; if you experience low framerates, download the 32-bit APK from our website for potentially better performance.

We are focusing heavily on core updates, especially modding support. This simulator shines with mods—imagine it without them!

You can download mods by searching "Proton Bus mods" or using the button inside the game. To install mods, use a file manager. The community is always ready to help if you need assistance.

Currently, advanced features are tested on a Samsung Galaxy S9, while basic ones run on a J7 Prime. It's not ideal for phones with less than 2 GB of RAM, but you can try it manually via APK/OBB installation without guarantees. Screenshots were captured on a Galaxy J7 Prime using the "good settings" option.

• New Mod Installer: Installing mods is now much easier! After downloading a mod file, simply share or open it with the game to install. This works for most buses and maps (up to phase 3 maps in this version).
• Shadow Improvements: Shadows have been adjusted; while not perfect, they should look slightly better.
• Premium Account Management: Added a button to disconnect and delete your premium account, as required by the platform.
