Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6 'Among the Forgotten Ruins' Launches Soon

HoYoverse has unveiled the exciting details of Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, titled 'Among the Forgotten Ruins,' set to launch on March 12th. This update promises a thrilling continuation of the story and introduces new characters to the game's roster, making things more intense in New Eridu.

What’s Happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?

In this latest update, Proxies find themselves entangled in a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, who has them scrambling to secure a mysterious artefact tied to the Sacrifice. However, their efforts are complicated by the interference of Mockingbird, a notorious phantom thief syndicate, intent on thwarting the Mayor's plans.

Adding to the intrigue, other factions are also in the mix, none too pleased with the idea of Proxies walking away with the prize. Meanwhile, the behavior of characters Hugo and Vivian becomes increasingly suspicious, leaving players to wonder about their true allegiances. Get a sneak peek of the action in the trailer below:

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6 also introduces a new unit, Anby Demara, who transitions from her role as Soldier 0 and leader of the Silver Squad to an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent. With her dual swords, she's ready to deliver devastating Electric damage. Joining her is Trigger, an ace sniper from Obol Squad and an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent. Trigger's ability to enter Sniper Mode allows for precise attacks and dodging, setting up her teammates for effective Quick Assists.

Some Are Making a Comeback

Returning characters include Pulchra Fellini, an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent representing the Sons of Calydon, alongside S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent Burnice and S-Rank Ether Attack Agent Zhuyuan, who are getting rerun banners. Additionally, the new boss, Geppetto, is set to challenge players in Hollow Zero.

The update also brings new gameplay challenges with Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge, designed to test your skills to the limit. A new mode, Shadow Operation in Hollow Zero, enhances battles with special effects, such as boosting damage based on accumulated coins.

Trigger's TV Schedule introduces third-person sniper gameplay, allowing players to engage in real sniper missions. March On, Tiny Titan! lets you control a Bangboo drone for unique challenges, while Little Knight's Big Charge tasks you with guiding a Bangboo through ten different trials, offering rewards like Pulchra as a playable agent.
