Blizzard has unveiled fresh details about World of Warcraft: Midnight's upcoming player housing system. Though the expansion follows The War Within in the Worldsoul saga, early glimpses reveal deeper customization options than most players expected.
A developer blog recently showcased gameplay videos demonstrating furniture placement mechanics. Items snap to an intuitive grid system, with smaller decorative objects remaining attached to larger furniture when repositioned.
The system offers Basic Mode for quick organization and Advanced Mode for creative builders. Advanced Mode enables full three-axis rotation and stacking capabilities, allowing players to craft unique interior designs with impressive visual depth.

Players can resize objects to accommodate different character proportions - from compact gnomish dwellings to expansive tauren lodges. New housing-specific furniture items will feature recolor options, while existing game assets may not support this functionality.
While Midnight's launch remains several months away, Blizzard continues building anticipation by gradually revealing details about these transformative gameplay additions.
